Being a Wine Group made up by 7 different wineries, Bornos offers a unique selection of Spanish wine on theCoWine platform. The group covers 6 different region and focuses on quality, innovation, sustainability and customer satisfaction. On theCoWine platform, Bornos is offering wine from 5 regions and 5 different wineries.

MARTÍNEZ CORTA. DOC Rioja
Some vines are older than 100 years old. Located in the heart of Rioja Alta, the town of Uruñuela, Martínez Corta harvest over 600,000kg of grapes annually. The current family took over the operations in 2005 and today owns 80 hectares of vineyard. 2 types of grapes are cared for in the field; Tempranillo and Ganarcha. 4 wines are produced and they are either aged in American and/or French oak.

Palacio De Bornos. DO Rueda
Wine production began in 1976 when the winery was founded. It coincides when the appellation of Rueda was established. Palacio was the first winery in Rueda to offer sparkling wine. It is based on the ‘traditional method’ and the Verdejo grape. The vineyards cover more than 300 hectares of 30 year old vines.
The soild is made up of clay-limestone with a top layer of gravel and pebbles. The grapes used for these amazing wines are Verdejo and Sauvignon Blanc.

SEÑORÍO DE SARRÍA. DO Navarra
If you have ever walked James Pilgrim’s Route you may have come across Señorío de Sarria. Riggt on the Route, the winery has been making wine since 1953. There is over 100 hectares of vineyard which is now have over 60 years old vines.
The Tempranillo, Garnacha, Graciano and Mazuelo is over 60 years old. The Chardonnay is over 25 years old. The Cabernet Sauvignon and Moscatel de Grano Menudo is 10 years of age.

OROT. DO Toro
The soils are made up of clay with limestone and sandstone sediments. The Tinta de Toro grape benefits from this type of soil. The winery was established in 1997 and owns 20 hectares with+15 year old vines. American and French oak barrells are before they are set to age in an underground cellar developed exactly for this purpose.

DOMINIO DE BORNOS. DO Ribera del Duero
Crianza and Roble are the only 2 wines produced by Dominio de Bornos. The vineyards are spread scross the Ribera del Duero region, as it covers 4 provinces; Burgos, Segovia, Soria and Valladolid. The conditions for vinegrowing here are great; with hot, dry summers, long and cold winters combined with medium-low rainfall provide a supportive environment. Only high performing equiment are used to vinify the 100,000kg of grapes used to create these 2 beautiful wines.
